On April 8th 2022, a workshop was held for a council of experts in the fields of Corpus Linguistics, Historical Linguistics, and Sociolinguistics. The workshop was structured into three topical sections. The first introductory block presented the current state-of-the-art and recent advancements within the project. Afterwards, in Block B, current and future ventures were explored. More specifically, the challenges of selecting and automatizing verbal hygiene patterns as well as changing and stable grammatical terminology in historical grammars were discussed. Feedback was obtained for the proposed methodology. The last section of the workshop was dedicated to an associated PhD project, focusing on American historical grammar writing. The corresponding slides are included below.
